MaterialSampleRecord

This is a data object that is a digital representation of a material sample; this digital object is identified by the pid property, which plays the same role as the ‘@id’ in schema.org metadata. The sample_identifier property contains the identifier of the physical object that the MaterialSampleRecord is about. IGSN is recommended for sample identifiers. The sample_identifier is expected to be a URI that can be dereferenced on the web; one of the representations accessible through this dereferencing is expected to be this iSamples MaterialSampleRecord, but other content types may be offered via content negotiation or other mechanisms.
